2026 Chevy Silverado 1500: The Latest Updates

Are there any redesign changes to the new Chevy Silverado 1500? For the 2026 model year, the Chevy Silverado 1500 gains a new trim level and two paint options—Polar White Tricoat and White Sands. The new RST Select trim level is available on RWD Double Cab or RWD and 4WD Crew Cab models, featuring the 2.7L TurboMax I4 engine, 20-inch gloss-black wheels, black side steps, and more. The exterior receives a more aggressive look with front and rear ends, including new jagged LED headlights, a larger grille, and revised taillights. 

Though the platform remains largely unchanged from the previous year, the 2026 Chevy Silverado 1500 redesign adds refinements and value features to certain trims. 

2026 Chevy Silverado 1500 Specs

There are four engine options available for the new Silverado 1500, including a turbocharged, four-cylinder, turbodiesel, and two V8 engines. See the specs below:

Although the towing and payload capacities vary by configuration, we have listed the maximum capabilities when properly equipped here:
