How the Four 2027 Traverse Trims Are Equipped
Traverse LT
The LT anchors the lineup. It is the only 2027 Traverse that can seat eight, using an available second-row bench in place of the standard captain’s chairs. Standard equipment includes a 17.7-inch touchscreen, an 11-inch driver information display, wireless smartphone connectivity and wireless phone charging. Heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, cloth upholstery, Smart Slide Seats and an AutoSense Power Liftgate are also standard. Two wheel upgrades are offered: 20-inch Carbon Flash Metallic wheels through the Sun and Wheel package, or 20-inch gloss black wheels through the Midnight or Sport Edition.
Traverse Z71
The Z71 is the off-road trim, and it is sold with all-wheel drive only. It adds the Advanced Twin-Clutch AWD system, Terrain Mode and Hill Descent Control. Off-road suspension, a skid plate and all-terrain tires are also included. Minimum ground clearance rises from 6.8 inches to 7.8 inches.
Traverse RS
The RS is the blacked-out, street-styled trim. Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance technology and a three-year OnStar Super Cruise plan are standard. Blackout treatments cover the grille, roof rails and badging. Inside, the RS adds a flat-bottom steering wheel with red decor. Power-folding second- and third-row seating is standard, with One-Touch Fold operation on the second row.
Traverse High Country
The High Country is the most refined trim and, for 2027, the most expensive. Super Cruise and the three-year OnStar plan are standard here as well. Exclusive Tritan Satin finishes appear inside and out, joined by real wood trim accents and microfiber suede. Redesigned High Country badging appears on the front doors, liftgate and door sill plates. Comfort equipment includes leatherette upholstery, ventilated front seats, driver-seat memory, heated second-row seats and a 12-speaker Bose premium audio system.
